Many individuals continue to live at home with their friends and family members. That arrangement is often successful because of personal assistance services, which provides a wide variety of help in the home and/or community. 

Personal assistance may range from a couple of hours of in-home services for dressing and bathing, or homemaking services, to assistance with transportation for recreational, medical, or other personal needs.
