Orange Grove Center announces the retirement of Margaret Johnson

Orange Grove announces the retirement of Margaret Johnson, who has been part of the OGC family for almost 44 years.  Margaret’s sojourn with the center began in 1969 at the original location on Main Street, where she and others awaited the opening of the current location on Derby Street.

The last 12 years she has rendered services in the Industrial Training Center as a supervisor, monitoring vocational and employment training of our individuals within a workshop setting.

Her retirement plans include spending more time with family, frequent visits to her brother in South Carolina, and more charity involvement.  She also hopes to fulfill her dream to travel overseas to Japan and Germany.
