Orange Grove's Development and Public Relations Office provides the center with additional funding from public and private sources, in addition to serving as the media liaison for clients and staff.
Development is inclusive of fund-raising campaigns, grant writing and generation of funds to the center. Membership drives, the Brick Engraving Campaign, Capital Campaigns and other fund-raisers are all governed by Development. Events managed by this department include Breakfast for Champions, the annual Jackie Tyber Memorial Golf Tournament and more.
Publications include the quarterly newsletter, Osage Connection, the annual report, media kit, departmental collateral and a host of other marketing materials. Social media sites, including Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as the Orange Grove Center website, are also managed by Development.
Public Relations affords the center a voice and image within the local media. Most news for the center is generated from this department.
