The Orange Grove Center dancers have entertained audiences for over a decade, performing for everyone from dignitaries to local audiences throughout Chattanooga. An instructor choreographs and provides movement direction for her troupe, which includes individuals of all ages and abilities.
They have performed at arts festivals, The ARC (formerly Association for Retarded Citizens of the U.S.), Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, Very Special Arts in TN (VSA), TN Association of Dance, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Fine Arts Center , Middle Tennessee State University's Inaugural Celebration for President Sidney McPhee, Barking Legs Theatre, and collaborations with Chattanooga Ballet, Baylor School, Girls Preparatory School, and Chattanooga School for the Creative Arts.
Each December, the group performs alongside the OGC Chorus for Christmas at the Courthouse. For more information, donations or booking, call Monty Parks at (423) 629-1451, ext. 2313.
