 Bev Witt is the director of Therapy Services at OGC. Bev began working with OGC early in her 30 year professional career as a contract physical therapist through her private practice in Chattanooga . In 1993, Bev assumed the leadership role as the Director. Her professional training has always been specifically with children and adults with developmental disabilities.
The Therapy Services Department at OGC, through Bev’s leadership, supports the interdisciplinary methodology for evaluation and treatment. It requires a team of experts, which most importantly includes the family, in assisting individuals to reach their full potential be that a supportive work environment or support based daily care options.
Bev particularly enjoys the challenges of assistive technology in service delivery, specifically wheelchair seating. Bev’s knows her greatest achievement is providing support for her 26 year old son, Ben who has multiple developmental disabilities, in reaching his daily goals of happiness, health and safety.
