Orange Grove Center's Bertha Beasley, was recently named The Quarterly Job Coach for the East Region. She will be recognized with the award on June 23 at the East Regional Employment Consortium.
Bertha has worked for Orange Grove since October 2004. Her job includes making sure that the individuals served know and are familiar with their work environment and supervisors. She also is responsible teaching them necessary skills that enable them to perform new job skills.
She received training from U.T. Consultants, Orange Grove's Community Supports, and on the job experience. She has also been recognized for her accomplishments of working with the individuals at Orange Grove and consistent professionalism.
In addition, she recently received the Clarence Johnson Award for perfect attendance at Orange Grove, and the Life Savers Award, which recognizes employees who have been in situations where they were quick to react, which may have saved a life.
Orange Grove is proud to have Bertha as an employee, because of her dedication and passion for her job.
