Orange Grove recently made the lineup of being a "cool school" on WRCB Channel 3's "Cool Schools." Channel 3's meteorologist and program host, David Karnes, shot scenes early Monday morning from the Morton J. Kent Habilitation Center that were aired during the 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. morning news show.
The show featured footage that was taped the previous week of the chorus and handbell group, playmotion!, Snoezelen, art class, water ballet, and students in action in Marianne Brooks (assistive technology), Mary Beth Brooke (work-based learning) and Lisa Breedlove's (Global Kidz Inc.) classes. Rocky the Raccoon was also featured alongside the Global Kidz.
