 Betty Husband, MD, MRO-C, will join the staff of Orange Grove Center as the new Health Care Services physician, and the physician for Orange Grove’s dental clinic.
Dr. Husband has a bachelor of science in Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University. She attended the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, MS, and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
She has over 12 years of experience as a medical professional, having previously worked for Erlanger Health System and a host of other medical facilities in Memphis, Nashville, Cleveland, and Athens, TN.
She is licensed in the state of Tennessee, and certified in basic, advanced cardiac, pediatric advanced, and advanced trauma life support, and also as a medical review officer.
She has held memberships in the American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association, Chattanooga and Hamilton County Medical Society, and the Medical Foundation of Chattanooga.
She and her husband, Thomas, have a baby boy, Brandon.
