The Tennessee Legislature is considering adding $5.5 million dollars back into the budget of the TN Division on Intellectual Disability Services. Please contact your legislator and ask them to support the effort to add $5.5 million dollars back into the DIDS Budget to help agencies like the Orange Grove Center. Another way to become educated as to what is taking place in our system is to listen in on some of the hearings that are taking place in the Tennessee General Assembly. It has become increasingly more convenient to hear exactly what our legislators are hearing and I can tell you that it is most enlightening.
