For more than 50 years, the Walter A. Lerch Industrial Training Center (ITC) has provided jobs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The facility is a well-organized industry which contracts with businesses to provide quality services and paid work experiences for people with intellectual disabilities. Various jobs are then set up in the 21,000 sq. ft. workshop, where our service recipients work and receive pay in accordance with their production and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
We have a workforce of approximately 150 individuals who are willing and able to perform tasks in the areas of packaging, sorting, labeling, heat sealing, and light assembling. These tasks offer each service recipient an opportunity to garner work-related skills that may lead to competitive employment.
ITC also features shipping and receiving that can be done at any of our two loading docks. In some cases, we will commit to fulfillment orders. Businesses interested in a partnership with the
Industrial Training Center should call Jasmine Seals, Coordinator of ITC, at (423) 493-2927.
The center will offer you competitive pricing, a location for productivity, and people with a strong desire to carry out practically any task.
